Overview In this role you will serve as the Controller for designated nonprofit clients within the CAAS practice, advising on accounting best practices and managing multiple client engagements. You will analyze financial statements, guide clients on financial objectives, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and standards. The position blends advisory work with project and client management, supporting growth for clients and the firm. This is a collaborative role at a national firm that values community impact and cross-functional partnerships.

- Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and project delivery
- Prepare and analyze client financial statements and offer recommendations
- Foster opportunities, attend industry events and trainings to stay current
- Maintain knowledge of client policies, regulations, and current accounting standards
- Advise management on short- and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions
Key requirements- Seven years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Nonprofit experience highly preferred
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- Prior project management and client management experience preferred but not required
