Overview In this role you will provide QA oversight for PMC Renewable projects and lead audits across contractor and project quality systems. You will support PMC QA with metrics, tracking, reporting, and deliverables, while traveling to project sites (75% travel). You help develop and refine quality procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and actionable QA insights.
Responsibilities- Provide QA oversight of PMC Renewable projects (Solar, BESS) as directed
- Verify suppliers, contractors, and vendors comply with QA program, standards, codes, and contracts through inspections and audits
- Lead/audit equipment suppliers and contractor quality programs, including manufacturing and construction activities
- Support development of QA procedures and documents for the QA program
- Contribute input for ongoing development of PMC QA Programs
- Write detailed inspection/audit reports from supplier facilities and construction sites
- Review quality programs for adequacy and applicability to planned work
- Conduct weekly site walks with the Contractor
- Complete weekly QA/QC update reports
- Monitor in-process contractor work for compliance
- Manage the nonconformance process
- Complete quality observations as per site plan
- Support the project according to the site-specific quality plan and owner requirements
- Review and comment on ITPs and contractor quality documents
- Perform weekly/bi-weekly site visits to provide QA support
Key requirements- Ability to provide QA oversight on large utility-scale new construction projects
- Experience with new generation renewable (Solar, BESS, hydro)
- Quality management experience with QA tools
- Auditing experience
- Knowledge of relevant industry Codes and Standards
