Overview As Digital Thread Architect, you will lead the design and execution of the Digital Thread platform within SAIC's Engineering Innovation Factory. You will craft technical business processes, data models, and use cases while collaborating with the Chief Architect and Project Manager to define solutions. You will apply systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and PLM/ERP/MES experience to build end-to-end digital content for internal and client programs. You will also coach teams, validate applications with test cases, and drive implementation to support a scalable digital engineering ecosystem. Responsibilities- Lead the creation of visionary technical solutions for the Digital Thread platform
- Write technical business processes, data models, and use cases
- Architect solutions and identify resources for execution
- Document solution configurations and use cases

Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or higher with 9+ years of experience, or Master's with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years (additional 4+ years in lieu of education considered)
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance
- 3+ years of experience with large software development including enterprise applications (PLM, ERP, MES)
- Expertise with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum)
- Basic understanding of CAD, CAM, MBSE/SysML, CAE/Simulation, Testing
- Ability to write clear Requirements, SOW, specifications and Use Cases
