Overview

In this Architect role, you will join Colliers Engineering & Design in Philadelphia to translate client visions into feasible, constructed reality. You'll work with a cross-disciplinary team from planning through construction to shape diverse projects across commercial, education, tech, and public sectors. You'll tackle design challenges, ensure code compliance, and develop full construction documentation. This is a chance to influence communities and collaborate on impactful, design-led solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Make independent decisions on architectural complexities and methods
  • Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and tests to plan and design projects
  • Prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules, and environmental impact studies
  • Assist in fee preparation, scoping and marketing strategies for proposed projects
  • Ensure design meets code requirements and create full construction documentation
  • Coordinate changes to construction documents and collaborate with design professionals
  • Research product materials and work with manufacturers to determine costs
  • Respond to RFIs and submittals; participate in proposal/client materials
  • Delegate and oversee tasks to Intern Architects and Summer Interns
  • May conduct site visits for construction administration duties
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent to maintain licensed architect status
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong AutoCAD and Revit proficiency; ability to produce preliminary/schematic designs; Revit desired
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and meetings
  • English proficiency for written and verbal communications
