Overview

As the Construction Team Lead-Sr Project Manager for Cushman & Wakefield's Programs and Projects team supporting the Humana PCO, you lead a small PM team and drive strong project execution. You shape strategy with cross-functional partners and champion best practices across the client portfolio. You coach and develop associates while managing workflow, metrics, and delivery of strategic initiatives. You will also balance hands-on project work with leadership responsibilities in a healthcare-focused program.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of up to 7 project managers and oversee project management activities within the clinical portfolio
  • Coordinate workflow, processes, and portfolio metrics across the PCO team
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management, Transactions, Engineering, senior leaders, and the client to shape strategy and implement best practices
  • Coach, develop, and manage team performance, including talent development and coaching
  • Spend about 25% of time executing projects and support broader PCO initiatives; travel 30-35% for project execution
  • Manage client relationships, vendor partners, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful delivery of services and contract commitments
  • Contribute to process development, program improvements, and quality initiatives within the Clinical P&P team
  • Support business development initiatives and client management as assigned or requested
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Advanced project management skills with understanding of PM business
  • Ability to lead business development initiatives as needed
  • Experience in client relations, contract negotiations, and consulting
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate data to clients and teams
  • Strong knowledge of architectural/engineering drawings and construction concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
