Gaming Associate Attorney - Litigation (Multi-City)

Overview

In this role you will support a premier gaming practice within a leading AmLaw 100 firm. You'll handle regulatory and litigation matters for gaming clients, spanning multiple jurisdictions and complex actions. You will collaborate with partners and counsel to shape strategy and advocate in state and federal forums. This position offers exposure to high-stakes matters, client interactions, and a growth path in a fast-evolving gaming and regulatory space. Responsibilities
  • Advise gaming clients on regulatory compliance and litigation at federal, state, and local levels
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs in state and federal courts
  • Manage discovery processes including depositions and document reviews
  • Oversee strategies for consumer class actions, gambling loss recovery, mass arbitrations, and related disputes
  • Oversee state AG and Gambling Commission actions and investigations
  • Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written products
  • Collaborate with partners to develop case strategy and provide practical legal solutions
  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness and clear guidance
Key requirements
  • JD from a top-tier law school
  • Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 2-6 years of substantive experience with technology and gaming law
  • Experience handling regulatory issues and litigation actions (consumer class actions, gambling loss recovery, mass arbitrations)
  • Experience with state Attorney General and Gambling Commission actions and investigations
  • Multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks experience preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to inspire client confidence and demonstrate practical judgment
