Overview In this role you lead sensory research to support business decisions, partnering with Technical, Quality, Sales, and Marketing. You design and execute studies, analyze data, and communicate actionable results to drive product opportunities. You will train and manage a descriptive analysis panel and oversee sensory lab operations. This position combines scientific rigor with cross-functional collaboration to shape flavor and color applications for global products.

Responsibilities- Provide sensory expertise to cross-functional teams to support business objectives
- Design, plan, and execute sensory research studies and analyze results for reporting
- Lead sensory training with cross-functional teams and external customers
- Train and maintain a high-performing descriptive analysis panel
- Manage day-to-day sensory lab operations including sample prep and panel setup
- Lead bench cuttings and taste evaluations for panel selection of finished products
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work area following GLP procedures
Key requirements- Bachelor in Food Science or related field with 7+ years of sensory science experience
- Proficient in discrimination testing, descriptive analysis, and consumer testing
- Strong statistics background and ability to analyze sensory and consumer data
- Skilled in presenting complex sensory data to stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
