Overview As Site Civil Business Class Lead in HDR's Building Engineering Services, you drive growth, operations, and technical leadership for the Site Civil group in the Houston region. You will mentor staff, manage workload and quality, and shape proposals while expanding client relationships and market presence. You'll work across HDR leaders to plan, market, and advance site civil design, with opportunities to influence industry standards and contribute to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities- Oversee Site Civil operations in the regional area, including workload, utilization, and quality control
- Develop technical capability and staff through recruitment, training, and mentoring
- Engage external clients and internal project managers to coordinate delivery and growth
- Prepare site civil proposals, including scope, hours, and fee estimates
- Support strategic planning, marketing, and interviews for site civil planning and design
- Collaborate with National Directors and Market Sector staff to drive growth in the site civil practice
- Act as a thought leader, participating in industry conferences and contributing technical publications
- Help implement and monitor company policies and participate in leadership functions
- Travel regionally and nationally as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
- 10 years of experience
- Professional registration and related technical experience
