Overview

As a Mason Superintendent at STRUCTURAL, you lead field teams to execute concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening projects. You'll work closely with project managers and leaders to plan work, coordinate crews, and ensure safety and quality on commercial and industrial sites. You'll mentor crews, drive efficient production, and maintain strong client and team relationships. This role offers impact at scale within a safety driven, collaborative open shop environment, shaping durable infrastructure nationwide.

Responsibilities
  • Lead field teams including foremen and open-shop crews to deliver on project plans
  • Participate in pre-project and pre-task planning and disseminate details to crews
  • Coordinate work activities with other construction tasks and assign tasks based on material and labor requirements
  • Ensure safe, proper, and productive use of tools and equipment by crews
  • Provide training and guidance to crews on task performance
  • Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates and efficiency
  • Complete essential paperwork clearly and accurately
  • Interview and hire new field employees
  • Promote and uphold the company's Safety 24/7 culture
Key requirements
  • 10+ years in general construction
  • 5+ years in a Foreman or Assistant Superintendent role
  • Experience in concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, facade restoration
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a commercial setting
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and contract specifications
  • Proven safety adherence and ability to lead teams
  • Proven use of look ahead schedules and construction docs
  • Strong communication with customers and project teams
  • Intermediate computer and construction math skills
