Responsibilities- Lead design of data architecture solutions for cloud, managed services, and service-oriented architectures
- Resolve data-architecture issues with business analysts and technology teams
- Collaborate to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development
- Analyze data-architecture related business needs and drive process improvements
- Support development of data pipelines, security data heritage, and scalable architectures
Key requirements- 8+ years of experience in defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering, or security platform architecture
- 3+ years with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Security, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Chronicle)
- 3+ years with stream processing/data brokering tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Logstash, Fluentd, Cribl)
- Experience designing security data pipeline architectures (log collection, normalization, enrichment, routing)
- Experience with data lake/analytics platforms (Databricks, Apache Iceberg, Snowflake)
- Experience architecting detection engineering pipelines, threat hunting workflows, automated response, and EDR/NDR integration (CrowdStrike, Corelight, Trelix)
- Experience deploying platforms across cloud, on-prem, and disconnected environments using Kubernetes or OpenShift; applying Zero Trust and DoD cybersecurity frameworks
