Overview In this role you oversee elevated guideway structures on the HART project, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget and design. You work closely with project leadership and on-site teams to coordinate scheduling, subcontractors, and materials, while upholding contract requirements and site safety. You provide technical input on drawings and construction methods, and help shape project plans and procedures. This position offers impact on a high-profile infrastructure program with a strong safety and quality culture.
Responsibilities- Supervise construction of elevated guideway structures to meet design, budget, and schedule targets
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions including scheduling and subcontractor coordination
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, efficient use of materials and equipment, and adherence to the site safety plan
- Provide technical interpretation of drawings and recommendations on construction methods and equipment
- Assist project management in developing the project schedule and site logistics plan; implement project procedures and standards
- Support Site Specific Safety Plan and coordinate with on-site Owner personnel
- Perform additional assignments as directed by supervision
Key requirements- 15+ years of construction experience
- 10+ years as a superintendent on heavy civil projects with concrete structures
- Experience supervising projects >$500M
- Knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards
- Experience with City, State, or Federal government clients preferred
- Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trades/unions/craft
- Proficiency in MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy Bid or similar software
- OSHA 500 certification, CPR & First Aid certifications
