Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager

Overview

You will safeguard financial integrity at a global robotics leader and drive the evolution of accounting processes and controls. In this role, you'll work with IT, operations, and legal teams to support robust reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance during a period of rapid growth. You contribute to the Accounting Manual, enhance automation of close processes, and help translate complex accounting into actionable guidance for the business. This position offers meaningful impact through scaling controls and finance technology in a cutting-edge field.

Responsibilities
  • Support the technical accounting function in revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and other complex areas.
  • Monitor and assess new accounting pronouncements and implement significant changes.
  • Maintain the Company Accounting Manual for US GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in month-end close and quarterly consolidation; prepare or review complex journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Support US GAAP and IFRS audit processes with timely, accurate deliverables.
  • Assist with BE-15 federal surveys and compliance filings.
  • Collaborate with IT and business operations to optimize ERP and CRM integrations to automate close while maintaining strong internal controls.
  • Work with legal and procurement to continuously improve the contract review process.
  • Build cross-functional relationships to provide accounting guidance and drive organization-wide process improvements.
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting
  • Experience in a high-growth technology or robotics environment is preferred
  • Clear and transparent communication with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • US GAAP and IFRS knowledge
  • ERP and CRM integrations experience
