Overview

As a Senior Project Manager I, you lead large projects or multiple initiatives, ensuring quality, schedule, safety, and financial health. You'll mentor the project team and cultivate strong client relationships, communicating across all levels. You will balance stakeholder needs in a dynamic environment while upholding integrity and confidentiality. This role connects you to mission-driven construction delivery with clear impact on project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial health of projects and develop projections
  • Allocate estimates into the financial system, set cost codes, approve invoices
  • Provide financials and billings to Accounting, generate monthly owner billings
  • Manage subcontracts, suppliers, budgets, and selections
  • Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers with task assignments and training
  • Serve as main point of contact with owner and on-site representative
  • Resolve site concerns, manage change orders and obtain approvals
  • Maintain schedule and budget, oversee quality, risk, safety, and compliance
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum eight years in construction management/project management or related field
  • Ability to manage multiple large, complex projects
  • Strong communication and active listening skills with openness to feedback
  • Basic understanding of construction law and standard business practices
  • Microsoft Office, project, and web application skills at an intermediate level
  • Positive professional attitude and strong customer service
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel 50% to 75%
