Overview In this role you lead procurement strategy development for direct materials linked to power plant installations, driving cost-effective, high-quality sourcing. You will coordinate cross-functionally to identify and develop critical suppliers, implement SRM plans, and manage contracts toensure on-time delivery. Working with business leaders, you shape procurement for innovative products and ensure alignment with INNIO's mission to deliver reliable, efficient power solutions. Responsibilities- Lead the development of procurement strategy for new products linked to power plant installations
- Develop and describe viable procurement strategies for power plant components
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify, select, and develop critical suppliers
- Implement and execute structured supplier relationship management plans
- Manage supplier contracts and negotiations
- Interface with business leaders to articulate strategies and gain buy-in
Key requirements- 5 years' experience in direct material procurement or related field, preferably in machinery
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
- Basic technical knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems
- Established network with manufacturers in energy generation sectors preferred
- Fluency in additional languages such as German and Spanish a plus
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Team player with continuous improvement mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle ERP experience preferred
- Willingness to travel 20% of time
