Overview In this role you will turn category, shopper, retailer, and POS data into actionable recommendations that support growth and retailer partnerships. You'll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and retailers to inform assortment, pricing, promotions, and new-item launches. You'll build insight-driven selling stories and category reviews that influence business decisions, translating data into practical, cross-functional impact. The role offers cross-team exposure in a hybrid environment and a chance to shape category strategy for Prestige's brands.
Responsibilities- Create insight-driven category presentations to support distribution, assortment, pricing, and product placement opportunities
- Develop category reviews using trends from category, brand, shopper, retailer, and new-item data
- Deliver category reports and actionable recommendations to senior management and cross-functional partners
- Analyze category and shopper data to identify growth opportunities and translate findings into business recommendations
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, retailers, and internal teams to support category growth initiatives
- Respond to business requests with accurate product, program, and category performance information
- Maintain cross-department communication and keep management informed of risks and key activities
- Participate in cross-functional workstreams and complete necessary documentation and reporting
- Support Prestige's reputation with thoughtful, well-researched category insights
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 5+ years in category management, trade marketing, and/or national account sales
- Hands-on category management experience with data-driven recommendations
- CPG experience
- Knowledge of Circana or Nielsen POS data; experience with Numerator and retailer loyalty data
- Strong analytical and technical skills; advanced Excel; strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of distribution channels, pricing policies, and promotional strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to managers, customers, retailers, and cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multi-priority management
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, technical, and regulatory information
- Ability to perform standard business calculations (discounts, percentages, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Travel up to 5%
- Hybrid work schedule in Tarrytown office Tue-Thu; Mon/Fri remote
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
