Overview As a Program Manager at Google, you lead large-scale data center programs from conception through commissioning, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget. You will translate requirements into practical data-center solutions and coordinate stakeholders across offices and vendors. You tackle complex construction and start-up challenges, ensuring safe, reliable, and scalable infrastructure. This role offers impact at hyperscale, shaping how Google deploys AI and cloud computing at global scale.
Responsibilities- Lead multi-site data center programs from inception to deployment
- Translate internal requirements into actionable data-center solutions
- Collaborate in a matrix organization with vendors and internal teams
- Communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership
- Analyze construction challenges and develop time- and cost-saving solutions
- Coordinate cross-functional partners to maintain project momentum
- Manage changes and keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget
- Oversee design, construction, and commissioning of facilities with electrical and LV/RV distribution
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of program or project management experience
- 8 years of experience with technical teams in data center or mission-critical facilities
- 8 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure
- 5 years of leadership experience
