Overview

You will lead on-site quality assurance for data center construction, guiding inspectors and coordinating with the owner to ensure conformance with contract requirements. You'll manage defect tracking, non-conformance, and test oversight while driving clear communications and timely resolutions. This role sits within project management and offers exposure to high-impact infrastructure work. You'll contribute to safe, reliable facilities and align QA activities with project objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead inspectors to verify workmanship, materials, and equipment per contract standards
  • Maintain defects/omissions lists and reconcile non-conformance logs
  • Monitor contractor quality programs for plan conformance throughout construction
  • Notify CLIENT of test failures and drive corrective actions
  • Oversee punchlists and participate in zero-defect walkthroughs
  • Report critical issues to Construction Management Lead and ensure resolutions
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly progress reports and progress summaries
  • Serve as primary client liaison for project execution and communication
  • Verify test scheduling, witness tests, review results, and retain records
  • Maintain professional presence on-site and in meetings
  • Represent the Client in line with contract requirements and deliverables
  • Conduct periodic site visits for QA, safety, and project tracking
  • Coordinate client outage/shutdown procedures
Key requirements
  • BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • 15 years of experience in construction and/or quality management (preferred)
  • CQM or other professional certifications (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture (preferred)
