Overview In this role you apply engineering know how to support nuclear and environmental management programs on-site for SRMC and similar clients. You will work within cross-functional teams to plan, analyze, document, and coordinate engineering activities that keep operations safe, compliant, and efficient. You'll translate technical expertise into practical support for maintenance and facility operations in a high-hazard setting. This contract-contingent position offers on-site collaboration and potential pathway to full-time employment.

Responsibilities- Perform limited engineering tasks within a defined scope under supervision
- Develop and review engineering specifications for processes, equipment, and instrumentation
- Create and update operating and calibration procedures and standards
- Conduct routine site walk-downs and document measurement control data
- Coordinate testing of new or repaired equipment with engineering and maintenance teams
- Support safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental programs during operations
- Assist with contingency coordination for emergency, security, and maintenance activities
- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance staff as requested
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or technical discipline or relevant alternative path as described in qualifications
- 1+ year experience in operations, operations support, maintenance, engineering, or technical field (when non-technical undergrad)
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical documents and drawings is preferred
- General familiarity with safety, site work control, and lockout/hold practices
