Responsibilities- Manage and review complex individual income tax returns (Form 1040) and multi-state filings for HNW individuals and families
- Review trust and estate filings (Form 1041) in relation to wealth planning
- Identify and implement tax planning opportunities across income, equity compensation, investments, and wealth preservation
- Serve as a technical resource on complex individual tax issues (multi-state taxation, coordination with related entities)
- Stay current on tax law changes to provide accurate, strategic advice
- Serve as a primary point of contact for HNW clients, delivering proactive, strategic guidance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships grounded in trust and responsiveness
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience and consistent communication
- Review work by senior and staff-level professionals, mentoring on complex issues
- Promote collaboration, innovation, and high standards of quality and accountability
- Support efficient engagement execution while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery
Key requirements- CPA license or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of tax experience focused on high net worth taxation
- Experience managing and reviewing complex individual tax returns
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior professionals
- Strong verbal and written communication, ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly
- Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe; familiarity with tax software
