Overview In this role you lead CMT and Special Inspection projects, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction. You will mentor field and engineering staff, manage budgets and schedules, and nurture client relationships across Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA. You contribute to construction quality and long-term performance through technical oversight and effective project leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry partners to grow the local market presence and support operational excellence.

Responsibilities- Lead CMT and Special Inspection projects from kickoff to closeout with budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination, and technical oversight
- Coordinate with clients and contractors through meetings and site visits to confirm requirements and maintain service quality
- Oversee field inspections, review documentation, and mentor technicians and engineers to ensure accurate testing and reporting
- Manage reports, scopes of work, and cost estimates to ensure alignment with project needs and timely delivery
- Support business development by building client relationships and participating in industry organizations to expand local market presence
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 4 years of CMT and SI experience, including at least 2 years in a project management role
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Active ICC, ACI, and DOT certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of ACI, ASTM, AASHTO, DOT standards and IBC Special Inspections requirements

- Ability to develop, review, and deliver accurate technical reports and project documentation
