Overview In this role you will drive growth and profitability for the Wrap-Up book within the Primary Construction segment. You will work closely with brokers and cross-functional teams to underwrite, market, and manage submissions, while mentoring staff and shaping the underwriting pipeline. The position blends hands-on technical underwriting with portfolio leadership in a global, entrepreneurial insurer known for its financial strength and client relationships. You will travel to key markets and contribute to cross-product initiatives to deliver client solutions.

Responsibilities- Develop and grow the Wrap-Up book for Primary Construction
- Underwrite and analyze submissions, prepare indications/quotations/binders
- Market and solicit opportunities, track pipeline and results
- Mentor and train staff, manage producer relationships
- Budget and track portfolio performance, rate movements and loss activity
- Travel to markets/accounts to maintain visibility and relationships
- Cross-marketing with Starr products
- Monitor and report on development, growth and profitability of the book
Key requirements- 5-7 years construction underwriting experience including Wrap-Ups
- Proven portfolio management experience
- Established relationships with wholesale and retail brokers
