Overview

In this role you will support and enhance the company's SEC reporting and financial reporting processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate quarterly and annual filings, schedules, and analyses that underpin public disclosures. The position involves assessing new accounting guidance, maintaining policy documentation, and coordinating with external auditors. You will contribute to process improvements and provide clear explanations of period-over-period fluctuations. This role offers exposure to high quality financial reporting in a hybrid Boca Raton environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports (Forms 10-Q, 10-K) and other regulatory filings
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting analyses
  • Monitor accounting standards updates and assess impact on financial reporting
  • Review and validate XBRL tagging for SEC filings
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly close activities and ensure timely reporting
  • Draft technical accounting memos on conclusions for reporting periods
  • Analyze financial results and explain significant variances
  • Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and control documentation
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage information requests and deadlines
  • Participate in ad hoc accounting, reporting, and process improvements
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3-4 years of public accounting experience with solid U.S. GAAP foundation
  • Big 4 experience strongly preferred
  • Background in financial reporting, SEC reporting, or technical accounting is a plus
  • Familiarity with general ledger or ERP platforms
  • Advanced Excel capabilities for complex data and reporting schedules
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Ability to balance priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines
