Overview

In this MSL role, you'll serve as a field-based scientific resource supporting a late-stage AML program. You engage investigators, hematologists, and oncologists to exchange science, communicate data, and gather insights on disease biology, MRD, relapse risk, and evolving care standards. You will help Medical Affairs and clinical development objectives through trusted, compliant engagement with the oncology community. This position combines scientific leadership with strategic input to shape research and launch readiness in AML.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, investigators, and hematology/oncology centers across the territory
  • Engage in compliant, peer-to-peer discussions on AML, biomarkers, MRD, and evolving standards of care
  • Communicate complex data clearly to diverse external stakeholders (physicians, researchers, nurses)
  • Support disease-state education programs, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and compliant medical activities
  • Execute scientific exchange with HCPs, formulary committees, and other stakeholders using approved materials
  • Identify educational needs within the medical community and initiate investigator-initiated studies
  • Maintain clinical expertise through conferences, journals, and continuous learning
  • Increase visibility with thought leaders and enhance interaction between client and industry
  • Identify and communicate key clinical and research issues to influence research, development, and marketing plans
  • Document interactions and insights in CRM or insight management systems
  • Ensure high standards of scientific integrity, ethics, and compliance
Key requirements
  • Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, DNP, NP, PA or equivalent strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of MSL or relevant clinical experience in hematology/oncology
  • Minimum 3 years of hematology/oncology experience with demonstrated TA expertise
  • Proven track record in medical affairs, clinical development, or related healthcare roles
  • Strong understanding of oncology treatment landscapes and market dynamics
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% and comply with site access/vaccination protocols
  • Familiarity with oncology clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, registries, and observational studies
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and OIG guidelines
