Responsibilities- Identify AI opportunities to enhance workflows and client service
- Translate legal needs into feasible AI use cases for immediate application
- Collaborate with AI Solutions Lead on complex use cases requiring advanced input
- Utilize AI tools (Copilot, Legora, CoCounsel, Vincent) to design and implement solutions
- Coordinate with AI developers to create tailored solutions when off-the-shelf tools fall short
- Test and validate AI solutions for accuracy, compliance, and usability in legal workflows
- Provide training to legal professionals and staff for effective adoption
- Document use cases, requirements, and steps for repeatable processes
- Monitor deployed AI solutions using KPIs to measure impact and inform planning
- Stay connected to AI and legal tech networks to surface insights and innovations
- .25 FTE annual billing requirement
Key requirements- JD or equivalent law degree; state bar admission strongly preferred
- Understanding of regulatory, privacy, data protection, and professional conduct obligations
- Knowledge of product development principles including user requirements, testing, and iteration
- Ability to design, develop, and deploy AI use cases for legal workflows
- Project and program management skills with multiple initiatives and priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Copilot, Power Platform, PowerPoint, Excel, Power Automate
- Experience with CoPilot Studio or other Citizen Developer tools preferred
- Ability to define, measure, and evaluate KPIs using data-driven methods
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills for non-technical audiences
- Growth mindset with sound judgment and discretion in law firm operations
- 4+ years' experience as practicing lawyer or legal operations professional
- Experience with generative AI, legal research platforms, document review drafting and automation, and workflow orchestration tools
