Overview In this role you will join a San Diego-based immigration law firm focusing exclusively on employment-based petitions. You'll handle EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 matters, guiding clients through PERM, I-140, NIW, and related processes. You will work closely with corporate clients and HR to shape immigration strategies and ensure compliance. Responsibilities- Manage employment-based green card matters including EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 petitions
- Prepare and file PERM Labor Certification applications
- Draft and file I-140 Immigrant Petitions
- Prepare National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions when applicable
- Advise corporate clients on employment-based immigration strategies
- Draft legal support letters and petition briefs
- Respond to RFEs and NOIDs
- Collaborate with HR and corporate stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with DOL and USCIS regulations
- Monitor priority dates and assist with adjustment of status strategy
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in good standing (California preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of employment-based immigration law experience
- Experience with PERM Labor Certifications
- Experience with I-140 Immigrant Petitions
- Experience with EB-1 Petitions
- Experience with EB-2 Petitions (NIW experience preferred)
- Experience with EB-3 Petitions
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex cases in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience advising corporate clients is preferred
