Overview As Project Architect at Jacobs, you drive architectural design outcomes for Federal facilities and multidisciplinary teams. You'll lead design efforts, coordinate with engineers, and manage deliverables within budget and schedule. You help grow the Atlanta Design studio through mentoring and process improvements. This role blends hands-on design leadership with collaboration across a broad client base to advance mission-driven projects.

Responsibilities- Serve as Designer of Record (DOR) for architectural projects, overseeing schedule, budget, and quality control; seal/stamp drawings and specs.
- Coordinate drawings and specifications across disciplines (electrical, structural, mechanical, civil, interiors, fire protection).
- Develop BIM strategy and organize data/files for contract documents.
- Lead design efforts within a multi-disciplinary team and foster collaboration, including remote teammates.
- Perform construction administration and field investigations, managing RFIs and submittals.
- Provide staffing development and mentoring for junior staff; conduct project quality control reviews at milestones.
Key requirements- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor in Architecture
- Registered Architect (RA)
- 8+ years architectural design experience
- Proficiency in REVIT
- Proficiency in standard Office Suite
- Travel (Overseas & US) may be required
- Experience with building systems coordination and federal/government requirements (preferred)
