Overview In this role you will help implement and standardize the SMS platform across the Enterprise IT Services Integrator and ISPs for the DHA program. You will drive interoperability, scalability, and cost-conscious operations for a global IT infrastructure that supports DHA locations and personnel. You will partner with government and senior leadership to guide design choices, assess performance, and steer project stages toward on-time, on-budget delivery. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of technology, governance, and large-scale healthcare IT delivery.
Responsibilities- Oversee design and adoption of the SMS implementation for EITSI and ISPs to ensure standardization and interoperability
- Ensure scalability of the global enterprise system and alignment with ITBM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and ITIM capabilities
- Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments with goals and plans aligned to program objectives
- Interact with client, project, and program leadership to negotiate positions and advise senior leadership on technical aspects
- Evaluate performance results and recommend changes affecting short- and long-term project growth
- Plan project stages, assess business implications, and monitor progress to meet deadlines, standards, and cost targets
- Possibly supervise others and manage aspects of financials, methods, and staffing
Key requirements- Eight years of progressive experience in SMS Implementation
- IAT III: CISSP or equivalent (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED or GCIH)
- Professional-level certification for supported technology as approved by the COR
- U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance
- Demonstrated experience with Enterprise IT management approaches and ITIL-aligned methods (ITBM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITIM, etc.)
