Overview

In this role you will own the end-to-end sourcing and supply management for Data Center Power & Cooling equipment to sustain unconstrained AWS growth. You'll work with cross-functional teams to balance demand, cost, and supply while maintaining resilience at scale. You'll drive global procurement strategies and collaborate with engineering and operations to support NPI and value-engineering initiatives. This is a high-impact role within AIS, focused on sustainable, scalable infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage global sourcing and supply chain strategies
  • Drive strategic cross-functional projects
  • Develop and maintain supplier capacity modeling
  • Understand demand inputs and position supply for AWS growth
  • Engage with global supply chain counterparts to adopt best practices
  • Partner with engineering to drive NPI and value-engineering initiatives
  • Drive innovation in the supply chain and influence industry practices
  • Create analytical reports to support decision-making for business partners
  • Manage supplier lead times to meet AWS requirements
  • Manage supplier performance and material allocation
  • Be SME for customers, technologies, and markets
  • Manage cross-functional projects to meet commitments
  • Identify opportunities for sustainable, scalable competitive advantage
  • Travel up to 20% of the year
Key requirements
  • 2+ years in program, project, or product management or leading product implementation
  • 6+ years of related industry experience
  • 8+ years of data analysis using Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau
  • 8+ years of high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma
  • Experience in global supply chain management and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in program, project, or product management
