Overview In this role you lead and architect Java-based solutions within an agile team, delivering scalable, secure technology products for financial services. You will work across backend and frontend layers, shaping features from core Java services to Angular-driven interfaces, and collaborating to optimize data, payments, and integration efforts. You drive design, code quality, and delivery in a fast-paced environment, leveraging microservices and DevOps practices. This position offers impact through building robust, market-ready software with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver scalable technology products in an agile setting
- Develop backend features with Java 11+, Spring Boot, and microservices
- Engineer frontend components using Angular 17+ and convert UX prototypes to UI
- Perform detailed design analysis with HTML/CSS/SCSS and industry standards
- Work with databases (Oracle, SQL) and scripting on Unix environments
- Collaborate with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jira and Git for end-to-end delivery
- Support integration efforts and big data initiatives to enhance performance
Key requirements- Extensive Java experience (Java 11+), object-oriented design and patterns
- Full-stack capability including Angular frontend, JMS MQ
- Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, Oracle/SQL
- Unix scripting, Git, Jira, DevOps, CI/CD
- Cucumber/TestNG testing frameworks
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience
