Overview In this Subcontracts Manager role, you will oversee subcontracting activities for industrial/construction projects, aligning procurement with project plans and client requirements. You'll collaborate with project teams and trade partners to drive compliant, timely, and cost-effective subcontract execution. This position focuses on EPC and lump-sum turnkey contracts for major process units, with an emphasis on risk mitigation and value delivery. Responsibilities- Lead pre-award activities, contractor pre-qualification, and RFP support with engineering, project, and client teams
- Provide feedback to Finance and Commercial Risk to ensure project-specific contract compliance
- Conduct bid evaluation and negotiations up to award for EPC and lump-sum turnkey contracts
- Organize and deliver presentations and meetings with contractors and clients
- Develop and transmit RFPs; manage pre-mobilization processes and deliverables
- Ensure timely contract compliance, progress reports, schedules, invoices and supporting documents
- Close out contracts and finalize issues, invoices, and contractor performance evaluations
Key requirements- 6+ years of subcontracts or procurement experience, with 5+ years in industrial construction
- Strong understanding of contract concepts (offer/acceptance, breach) and contract issuance/execution
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, business management, construction, or related field
- Experience negotiating and coordinating subcontracts in the field; knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction techniques
- Knowledge of industrial construction methods, risk analysis, and strong analytical/organizational skills
- Preferred experience in Heavy Industrial, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refineries or Power Generation
