Overview

In this role you lead regional construction engagements within the Food, Beverage, Life Science, and related markets, guiding projects from concept through closeout. You collaborate with a seasoned AEC team to deliver design-build and EPC solutions, ensuring client satisfaction, budget discipline, schedule accuracy, quality, and safety. You'll mentor teams and drive growth while managing risk, contracts, and business development opportunities. This position offers meaningful impact in a culture focused on leadership, integrity, and client outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Guide projects from conception to fruition aligning with client objectives
  • Lead risk assessment, contract negotiations, and key fee/ pricing decisions
  • Serve as primary client liaison and face of project performance
  • Identify new opportunities and contribute to scope/ proposal development
  • Oversee budget and financial aspects across the project lifecycle
  • Manage Construction & Design-Build initiatives including estimating and proposals
  • Create and guard scope, schedule, and design-build stages to meet budget and client expectations
  • Lead and develop project teams; mentor and train team members
  • Oversee construction activities across industrial facilities and related structures
  • Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive safety programs
Key requirements
  • 15+ years in diverse construction roles
  • 8+ years in construction management and team leadership
  • Experience in Construction & Design-Build and industrial projects; sector experience preferred
  • Reading P&IDs familiarity
  • Safety program implementation and monitoring
  • Proficient with project management software and scheduling tools
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Timberline, AutoCAD, or Revit
  • Knowledge of prime contract requirements, estimates, schedules, scopes, budgets
  • OSHA 10/30 certification; construction project management certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical field (preferred)
  • Contractor Qualifier Licenses or willingness to obtain licensure in multiple states
  • Travel flexibility for client, AHJ, internal meetings and site reviews
