Overview In this Electrical Project Manager role, you will lead large electrical projects from start to finish, partnering with senior management to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and profitability. You will build and guide project teams, manage scope and budget, and maintain strong client relationships to meet expectations. Responsibilities- Lead and manage teams on large electrical projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate with upper management to ensure safety and project success
- Build strong project teams, deliver quality output, meet customer expectations, manage scope, schedule, and budget
- Drive division profitability through effective project execution
- Develop PM technical and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, and capacity planning
- Evaluate and improve department systems and processes to meet customer and profitability goals
- Review contractual requirements and project-specific design methodologies
- Ensure project schedules are met and adapt priorities as needed
- Engage with customers to align expectations before, during, and after project delivery
- Oversee project review with emphasis on financial forecasting
- Ensure high-quality engineering, studies, and project delivery
- Proactively communicate challenges, risks, and successes
Key requirements- 3+ years of electrical project management experience
- Extensive knowledge of scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts
- Proven ability to develop relationships and win projects
- Proven ability to run a profitable portfolio
- Exceptional initiative, execution, and communication skills (oral and written)
