Overview

In this role you will lead the technical design and implementation of enterprise CPQ and online ecommerce solutions for Pierce Washington. You will mentor engineers, own multi-layer solution architecture, and ensure scalable, secure deployments. You'll translate business requirements into robust designs while advancing best practices across code, data, and integration. Expect to tackle performance, risk, and reliability challenges in a fast-growing tech environment. This is an opportunity to shape a pivotal Total Commerce offering for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor engineers and act as technical resource across projects
  • Lead implementation across all technology layers including front-end, CPQ platform, web services, and security
  • Translate requirements into scalable, robust solutions
  • Tune performance and diagnose compatibility issues
  • Mitigate technical risks and ensure system stability and security
  • Improve code architecture, testing, database, and design practices
  • Perform QA on large projects including estimations and architecture
  • Contribute to broader product designs across modules and projects
  • Suggest and implement third-party libraries and tools
  • Ensure overall performance and scalability of delivered applications
Key requirements
  • Experience delivering enterprise CPQ and ecommerce solutions
  • Cloud-based enterprise implementations (Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Deep integration experience with CRM/ERP and middleware
  • Knowledge of data models for quoting, ordering, CRM
  • SDLC experience (waterfall, agile, hybrid)
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, Python, XSLT, XPATH, REST, SOAP, JSON, SQL
  • Experience with web app frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) is a plus
  • Seven years of professional software development experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/engineering/math
  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs
  • Strong client-facing and consulting experience is a plus
