Overview In this on-site role at Flexjet, you will support maintenance operations by purchasing aircraft parts and coordinating parts logistics to minimize aircraft ground time. You will collaborate with purchasing, stores, and the Maintenance Operations Center to secure timely parts and resolve supply issues. The position blends procurement and parts operations, offering growth from Level 1 to 3 based on experience. This role suits a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives under pressure and values cross-functional teamwork.
Responsibilities- Conduct purchasing activities for aircraft parts to support daily maintenance operations
- Coordinate with purchasing, stores, and Maintenance Operations Center to resolve issues and reduce aircraft ground time
- Determine competitive pricing aligned with maintenance schedule
- Identify interchangeable parts and maintain/update the parts catalog
- Provide technical assistance in determining requirements and movement of parts
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance
- Coordinate internal part movements for AOG situations
- Maintain detailed records of requests and parts status; communicate updates to relevant departments
- Handle parts ordering, receiving, shipping, packaging, and inventory control
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Key requirements- 3-5 years of procurement/parts experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to quickly learn processes
- Excellent written and oral communication, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work under time pressure
- Proficiency with Windows and MS Office programs
