Overview

In this role you will handle a diverse commercial litigation caseload from start to finish within a respected Dallas boutique firm. You will work closely with partners, gain meaningful courtroom exposure, and actively interact with clients and stakeholders to shape strategy. The position emphasizes ownership of cases, mentoring, and developing as a trial attorney in a collaborative environment. This is an opportunity to build a long-term practice focused on high-stakes commercial disputes, with direct access to experienced litigators.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse commercial litigation caseload from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the courts
  • Assist with and, when appropriate, take an active role in bench and jury trials
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys while progressively assuming greater responsibility for client matters
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients through practical, business-focused legal counsel
Key requirements
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • Approximately 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience
  • Experience handling business disputes, contract litigation, commercial real estate litigation, construction litigation, or other complex civil litigation matters
  • Experience preparing for trial and participating in hearings, depositions, mediations, or trial proceedings
  • Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with experience managing multiple litigation matters simultaneously
  • Desire to continue developing as a trial attorney within a collaborative environment
