Overview

In this role, you will translate Citi Wealth CIO views into practical portfolio construction and client analytics, shaping asset allocation for diverse client segments. You'll develop innovative tools and models to support regional strategy in Latin America, working with cross-functional teams to extend the CIO framework. You help clients by delivering tailored investment proposals and scalable analytics. This position offers impact through advanced quantitative methods and education of stakeholders, within a collaborative, global environment.

Responsibilities
  • Translate global and regional investment views into actionable portfolio construction recommendations and client analytics
  • Develop innovative tools and frameworks for the Citi Wealth CIO investment organization
  • Design customized asset allocation strategies using proprietary models
  • Analyze investments across asset classes and assess portfolios and strategies
  • Build in-house statistical modeling applications to scale insights
  • Present and discuss portfolio analysis and proposals with clients
  • Contribute to scalable, self-service analytical tools for client-facing teams
  • Address Latin America regional priorities with tailored outputs (educational content, diagnostics, analytics)
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to support regulatory compliance and rollout of initiatives
  • Support development and rollout of global analytical tools and methods
Key requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Modern Portfolio Theory, asset allocation techniques, portfolio simulation, risk analytics
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets and Managed Investment products including derivatives and alternative investments
  • Knowledge of financial modelling (Monte Carlo, optimization, regression) and statistical analysis tools
  • Soft skills: can-do attitude, ownership, team-player
  • Fluency in Portuguese (verbal/written)
  • Travel: 30%+
  • Series 7, 66 or 63 and 65; must meet all FINRA requirements within 150 days
