Overview In this role you will draft, review, and negotiate a range of contracts to support Gallagher's business objectives. You will collaborate with business leads and other legal colleagues on strategic contracting initiatives, providing risk-focused advice and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will address IP, privacy, and regulatory issues while contributing to data metrics and project automation. Responsibilities- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize client contracts, partnership agreements, consulting services agreements, marketing agreements, and related documents
- Ensure agreements reflect Gallagher's objectives and comply with laws and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with business leads and legal peers on strategic contracting issues and initiatives
- Provide proactive strategic advice on contractual risks and dispute considerations
- Address IP, privacy, data security (HIPAA, GDPR), and regulatory matters in contracts
- Work with teams on data metrics, reporting, and automation initiatives related to contracts
- Contribute to a team-based approach with cross-functional stakeholders on broad projects
Key requirements- Law Degree
- Minimum 5 years of contract drafting and negotiation experience
- Bar admission in good standing (US)
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong strategic business acumen and excellent drafting and negotiation skills
