Overview In this role you will lead pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying and Cost & Commercial Management activities across building and infrastructure projects. You join a diverse PMCM team within a global firm, influencing project outcomes from estimation to post-contract financial control. You will work with cross-functional teams, potentially lead a QS/Commercial team, and participate in business development and industry engagement. Responsibilities- Pre- and post-contract QS/Cost & Commercial management
- Estimating, cost planning, procurement, cost assurance
- Post-contract financial/commercial management
- Potentially lead a QS/commercial team and staff training
- Bid writing and winning work
- Represent WSP UK at industry events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Building and Infrastructure projects
Key requirements- MRICS or Assoc RICS or working towards a professional qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in QS/Cost & Commercial competencies
- Leadership and delivery experience at senior level where applicable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptable and flexible with workload
- Ability to challenge the status quo and learn from experience
- Experience with CostX, CEMAR or Fastdraft
- Familiarity with NEC Contracts (NEC4) and other standard contract forms
- Knowledge of high-value complex infrastructure projects and public sector procurement
