Overview In this role you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions for oil, gas, and chemical clients, owning problem definition through production deployment. You will serve as the primary customer-facing domain expert, shaping technical strategies and validating outcomes with cross-functional teams. The role blends senior engineering expertise with solution leadership to drive measurable business value. You will work with operators, reliability teams, and executives to scale AI-enabled improvements across assets and facilities.

Responsibilities- Own the overall solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for assigned customer engagements through production deployment and scale
- Serve as the primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert, understanding customer operations, equipment, processes, constraints, and business objectives
- Identify and quantify high-impact opportunities across reliability, maintenance, production performance, process optimization, and operating economics
- Translate engineering and operational challenges into AI/ML/optimization problems with clear requirements and value
- Lead engagements from use case definition to validation, deployment, adoption, and scale-out
- Guide interpretation and use of industrial data to solve customer problems
- Maintain accountability for solution quality, business value, risks, and executive communication
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify reusable capabilities and scale solutions across assets and sites
- Support sales during opportunity assessment and define deployment strategies and demonstrations
- Develop repeatable industry methodologies, solution patterns, and best practices
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, or industrial technology
- Deep experience in asset-intensive industries (oil and gas, chemicals, etc.)
- Proven ability to solve complex operational problems and improve equipment reliability or production performance
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment, processes, and maintenance practices
- Experience with industrial data (sensor/time-series, alarms, maintenance history, production data)
- Experience with industrial systems (SCADA, DCS, MES, EAM/CMMS, ERP, advanced process control)
- Ability to translate domain/operational requirements into technical solutions
- Experience leading complex, customer-facing engagements and working with executives
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
