Overview In this role you will transform Forge's proprietary data into actionable market intelligence for a wide investor audience. You'll support the development of research publications, market commentary, and thought leadership that explain private market dynamics. You'll work with cross-functional teams to translate data into clear narratives and visual assets. This is an opportunity to shape how investors understand private markets and to contribute to flagship research and client communications.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Analyze Forge data to identify trends in private company valuations, liquidity, investor activity, and market performance
- Perform quantitative analysis across industries, sectors, and private market cohorts
- Develop research frameworks, market indicators, and analytical tools for private market dynamics
- Monitor developments in private markets, venture capital, growth equity, IPO markets, and public equities for investment implications
- Support creation and maintenance of proprietary benchmarks, indices, and performance metrics
- Produce recurring research publications and translate data into narratives for diverse investor audiences
- Create charts, visualizations, and presentation materials for clients, partners, media, and conferences
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Client Experience to develop data-driven thought leadership
- Respond to market intelligence requests from internal stakeholders and external clients
- Contribute to research initiatives supporting new products, investment solutions, and strategic priorities
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or related discipline
- 3-7 years of experience in investment research, private markets, or related fields
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience handling large datasets
- Proficiency in Excel and Python or similar analytical tools
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with experience producing research content
- Ability to distill complex information into concise, data-driven insights
