Overview

In this role you will lead QC testing and documentation to ensure product quality across concrete trials, intermediates, and finished goods. You will partner with R&D to implement specifications, generate COAs, and drive process improvements. You'll manage SAP-based material releases, nonconforming material handling, and audits, contributing to a compliant, data-driven quality culture. Responsibilities
  • Supervise testing of Concrete Trials, Liquid Admixture, RM and PM per R&D specs
  • Supervise testing of Intermediates and Finished products per R&D specs
  • Generate Certificate of Analysis for all batches
  • Maintain QC records (hard and soft copy) per QC requirements
  • Perform statistical data analysis to improve processes
  • Authorize and execute RM/PM/FG release in SAP
  • Generate non-conforming material notes for rejections
  • Modify First Time Failure batches as per R&D guidelines
  • Label nonconforming raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates, and finished products
  • Test and approve new packaging material per vendor spec with procurement report
  • Drive continual testing procedure improvements for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
  • Calibrate testing equipment (internal and external) and ensure lab maintenance
  • Handle customer complaints and perform RCA with corrective actions
  • Ensure IMS standards compliance and document maintenance
  • Assist technical team with plant-level new product introductions
  • Ensure laboratory audits and corrective actions for observations/nonconformances
  • Assist Procurement/R&D with new materials and vendor development
  • Conduct regular process audits and 5S housekeeping in the lab
  • Train QC lab personnel for safe and precise QC activities
Key requirements
  • 5-6 years Manufacturing/Quality control experience in Construction Chemical or Chemical Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ERP/SAP
  • Chemical engineering or Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic) background
  • Self-starter
  • Analytical mindset
  • Team player
  • Good laboratory practice with safety focus
  • Routine QC methods and equipment handling
  • Knowledge of IMS (Integrated Management System)
