Principal Cybersecurity Architect

Overview

In this role, you will shape the firm's cybersecurity posture at scale by leading strategy and architecture across a broad portfolio. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex security issues into actionable decisions and reusable frameworks. You will drive adoption of advanced methods and create durable cybersecurity models that elevate velocity and quality. This position offers a chance to influence enterprise-wide protection and work at the forefront of cybersecurity policy and technology.

Responsibilities
  • Advise and lead cybersecurity strategy and development across multiple products, applications, and technologies
  • Translate complex issues to leadership to inform target state architecture and drive innovation
  • Drive adoption of new technical methods in line with product development methodologies
  • Create durable, reusable cybersecurity frameworks improving velocity and quality across teams
  • Develop architectures applicable across businesses and functions
  • Identify and communicate risk across engineering teams with actionable mitigation options
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and respect within the organization
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification in cybersecurity architecture concepts and 10+ years of applied experience
  • Practical experience delivering reusable cybersecurity architecture across businesses, functions, and systems
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages or applications
  • Proven ability to influence across functions to deliver modern cybersecurity architecture
  • Experience applying expertise to solve new and complex cybersecurity problems across disciplines
  • Extensive practical cloud-native experience
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to shape future-state cybersecurity architecture
  • Experience leading a product as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Software Engineering Manager
