You will guide a team of estimators, coordinating multiple disciplines to deliver accurate cost and schedule insights. This role supports diverse projects globally, from small facilities to large-scale operations and infrastructure-adjacent facilities. You'll apply multi-discipline coordination and innovative approaches to keep estimates defensible and aligned with project goals. Responsibilities- Supervise multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, building envelope, interiors, finishes, doors/hardware, and related components
- Collaborate with other estimators to develop estimates and schedules
- Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules
- Validate material takeoffs and construction quantities from drawings
- Aggregate estimating disciplines into a comprehensive project cost estimate
- Create estimate execution plans outlining strategy, scope, methods, staffing, and timelines
- Prepare labor-force work plans and basis of cost estimate reports for end users
- Set site-specific estimating criteria (wage and productivity rates) and perform QC of construction documents
- Support procurement, change, claims valuation, and supplier pricing activities
- Prepare construction logistics plans and provide innovative solutions to estimating challenges
- Interface with management and client counterparts for estimating tasks
- Identify and quantify project risks and opportunities; contribute to risk analyses
- Review design documents to identify risks and opportunities for competitive pricing
- Coordinate constructability reviews and serve as primary cost estimating contact for clients and stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends and apply lessons learned to improve estimate quality and competitiveness
Key requirements- Extensive technical knowledge of cost/estimating and construction practices
- Experience estimating buildings and facilities across multiple sectors
- Strong expertise in architectural and structural scopes (steel, concrete, foundations, envelope, interiors, finishes, doors, etc.)
- Multi-discipline estimating experience and coordination across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related scopes
- Advanced understanding of contract methods
- Experience with InEight Estimate, Sage Timberline, On-Screen Take-Off, MCASES MII, IPE, HCSS or similar platforms
- Experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Proven ability to mentor others in estimating techniques
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
