Overview As Senior Counsel, US Employment, you provide practical, business-focused legal advice on labor and employment matters across the United States. You will partner with business leaders and the People team to manage employment risk, support workplace initiatives, and navigate regulatory challenges in a transforming organization. You will lead internal investigations, policy development, and government contractor compliance while coordinating with outside counsel as needed. This role offers a chance to shape employment strategy during a pivotal growth phase for Trinzic. You will work across Legal, HR, Compliance, and leadership to drive compliant, strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities- Provide practical employment law counseling on employee relations, performance, discipline, reductions in force, leaves, wage and hour, policies, and terminations.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders and People team, identifying legal risks and aligning solutions with business objectives.
- Manage employment litigation, administrative charges, and pre-litigation disputes; supervise outside counsel and budget.
- Handle agency proceedings and regulatory matters with federal, state, and local agencies; prepare statements and represent the company in mediations.
- Oversee internal investigations and recommend corrective actions and risk mitigation.
- Draft and update employment policies, agreements, and communications to ensure compliance.
- Advise on OFCCP compliance, affirmative action, audits for government contractors.
- Counsel on labor relations matters including unions, grievances, arbitrations, and NLRB proceedings.
- Provide employment-related guidance on workplace safety matters and OSHA interactions as needed.
- Develop and deliver training on employment law, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Support international employment issues with local counsel; participate in special projects and strategic initiatives.
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active law license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction in good standing
- 8+ years of labor and employment law experience
- Experience handling complex employment matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience managing employment litigation and administrative proceedings
- Preferred: in-house or government contracting industry experience
