Overview

As an associate in our Litigation practice, you contribute to complex cases in California, applying rigorous research and persuasive writing to support strategy and trial readiness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance client objectives, manage substantive aspects of cases, and maintain high professional standards. The role offers exposure to environmental and products liability matters within a supportive, growth-oriented culture. Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy
  • Draft clear, well-reasoned briefs, motions, contracts, and correspondence
  • Assist and manage complex cases from inception to resolution, including trial prep, negotiations, and settlements
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships with timely updates and professional communication
  • Collaborate with lawyers and professionals to develop innovative case/transaction strategies
  • Attend and contribute to hearings, depositions, negotiations, and trials
  • Ensure compliance with evolving legal standards and precedents
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance legal knowledge, practice technology, management, and leadership skills
  • Engage in firm programs, pro bono work, and community initiatives
Key requirements
  • California Bar Admission
  • 4-5 years of experience in California state court litigation
  • Experience in environmental and/or products liability litigation
  • Prior law firm or agency experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and good professional judgment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
