Overview In this role you lead a craft-focused team on a major LNG construction project, directing work schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You'll partner with field engineers and foremen to translate designs into productive field operations while maintaining budgets. The role blends leadership, planning, and hands-on field oversight to deliver complex, high-stakes infrastructure work. You'll work within Bechtel's safety-first, collaborative culture, contributing to a landmark energy project.

Responsibilities- Direct and supervise craft activities on site
- Schedule and monitor work progress by craft
- Determine workforce requirements and coordinate area plans
- Monitor tool and equipment usage; manage field tool and consumables
- Ensure design documents are current and changes approved; verify adherence to specs, schedules, and budgets
- Collaborate with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Subcontractors; interpret and coordinate technical documents
- Coordinate engineering solutions with subcontractors and craft teams
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operations on field activities
- Experience on LNG construction sites, preferably along the U.S. Gulf Coast
- Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating stations (preferred)
- Computer literacy (word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
- Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including night or split shifts
- Physical ability for field inspections and demanding site conditions
- Familiarity with Bechtel's ES&H policies and design change processes
