Overview As a field-based Medical Science Liaison, you will serve as a scientific bridge between TMAC clients and healthcare professionals in oncology. You will build peer-to-peer relationships, deliver balanced non-promotional science, and support launch readiness while gathering field insights. You'll operate across territories, contribute to advisory boards and educational programs, and ensure compliant scientific exchange. This role offers exposure to precision oncology, biomarker testing, and cross-functional collaboration in a growing organization.
Responsibilities- Maintain expertise in tumor types, precision oncology, biomarker testing and current evidence.
- Engage with oncology HCPs, investigators, pathologists, and stakeholders with tailored scientific exchange.
- Represent Medical Affairs at national/regional meetings and congresses.
- Develop and execute a territory medical plan aligned with MA strategy and launch-readiness.
- Cultivate scientific relationships with external experts across academic centers and clinical sites.
- Document and follow up medical interactions per processes and quality standards.
- Support advisory boards, education programs, and Investigator-Sponsored Trials as requested.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations to understand barriers to patient identification, testing, referral, and enrollment.
- Provide compliant scientific support on protocols and patient-facing/site materials.
- Contribute to launch-readiness by identifying knowledge gaps and evidence needs.
- Capture and communicate high-quality medical insights while protecting confidential information.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MA, Clinical Dev, Operations, Information, Publications, Diagnostics, Market Access).
- Review materials for accuracy and alignment with approved processes.
- Support internal scientific training, medical communications, and resource development.
Key requirements- Demonstrated understanding of compliant scientific exchange and FDA/industry requirements.
- Excellent scientific communication, presentation, relationship-building, project-management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and manage competing priorities.
- Field-based role with travel up to 60%, including overnight travel.
