Overview As the on-site senior representative, you lead construction management for a brownfield coal-to-gas conversion project. You coordinate with the Owner, EPC/engineering team, plant operations, and contractors to deliver safely and with minimal plant disruption. You guide multi-contractor execution, drive schedule adherence, and uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards. Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day construction management during project execution
- Act as primary field interface between Owner, engineering team, plant operations, and contractors
- Coordinate activities across multiple owner-held contracts
- Lead contractor coordination meetings and resolve field issues
- Monitor safety, quality, productivity, schedule, staffing, and contract compliance
- Oversee construction work inside an operating brownfield facility, including outages and tie-ins
- Manage interface between union and non-union contractors while ensuring compliance with labor practices
- Review contractor progress, change requests, and field reports
- Drive schedule adherence and recovery with project controls
- Report on project performance, risks, and mitigation actions
- Support turnover, start-up, and commissioning activities
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- 15+ years of industrial construction experience with increasing leadership responsibilities
- Experience managing multi-discipline construction activities on power/industrial facilities
- Experience in operating brownfield environments and owner-managed or CM-at-Risk delivery models
- Strong understanding of contractor management, contract administration, and change management
- Experience coordinating union and non-union contractors in complex environments
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling and progress measurement
