Responsibilities- Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration
- Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs
- Manage the administration of estates from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met
- Prepare client presentations and conduct tax calculations and analyses
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service
Key requirements- JD from a top-tier law school
- Pennsylvania Bar Admission or ability to waive in
- LL.M. and strong tax background
- 5+ years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals
- Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills
- Proficiency in preparing client presentations, tax calculations and analysis, and administering estates from probate through closing
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact
- Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment
