Overview In this role you guide real estate valuation risk across the firm, ensuring appraisal reviews and policies align with regulatory standards. You work within VSG to support credible valuations and maintain independence while coordinating with vendors and internal partners. Responsibilities- Evaluate commercial real estate appraisals nationwide per JPMC policies, USPAP standards, and federal regulations
- Manage the full appraisal procurement and review process including scope development, vendor engagement, and report review for compliance and credibility
- Maintain effective communication with vendors and internal partners to support timely progress and uphold appraisal independence and integrity
- Exercise sound judgment, proactive communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making
Key requirements- State Certified General license
- Minimum of 10 years of experience performing and/or reviewing commercial appraisals
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self-motivated, with efficient time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Comprehensive understanding of USPAP and federal appraisal regulations
